The high costs of today's living

Achieving stable lower gas prices will take place once we wake up and smell the roses. Its not as hard to pull off as you may think but it will take something we're not very good at doing. In order to do this we must all ban together once and for all. We tried this years ago with a concept called Hands Across American. Those of you old enough to remember should recall America couldn't come up with enough hands joined together to bring it off.
We need to unite together once and for all, pick a day and simply stay at home. Now you must admit this concept would take little effort on ones behalf and the outcome on the oil producers would be completely devastating. No cars, no trucks, no planes or trains in motion. Ban together and ground them all. The unused fuel amounts would be in the billions of gallons. If one day isn't enough to get their attention then stay home for two. For that matter make it a three day weekend during a holiday and get the worlds full attention.
